Important Message:  Members, there have been chain emails and text messages sent out from unknown sources regarding voters having to re-register to vote for the up coming presidential Election.  This is not true!  The officers of this local have been advised that this is incorrect information.  You can visit the Dallas County Elections website at www.dalcoelections.org to verify our statements and get voter information for Dallas County, and visit www.tarrantcounty.com/evote/ for Tarrant County Election information.  Please don't let these rumors discourage you to vote!  This election as in every other election is very important.  Remember you need to be and should be heard.  Your vote counts!

Brothers and Sisters as most of you have already heard AT&T has entered into an agreement to sell the yellow pages business to Cerberus Capitol Management.

The acquiring company will recognize the union negotiated contracts with the CWA and the IBEW. There are thousands of members affected by this sale and there are many questions that have not been answered.
